Union Village Urbanism Development

Lebanon, OH

The Kleingers Group provided survey and civil engineering services for the Union Village in Lebanon, Ohio. Union Village is a unique development within Ohio, modeled after the Norton Commons development in Louisville, Kentucky, and Habersham in Beaufort, South Carolina. The project is a new urbanism development that encourages pedestrian-friendly streetscapes, connectivity to the surrounding environment, quality architecture, and urban design, with the development of a traditional downtown. The design of the community itself and the amenities available help promote a higher quality of life.

Kleingers provided municipal engineering services and devised a sanitary sewer master plan for Union Village Urbanism Development that will allow the collection of thousands of houses, retail areas, and commercial areas around Union Village. The sanitary sewer master plan encompasses 1,200 acres of undeveloped around the current Otterbein Lebanon Senior Life Community.
