Bass Pro Shops and Roadway Improvements at Windisch & Allen Roads

The public roadway improvements were initially necessitated by the anticipated construction of Bass Pro Shops at the northeast corner of Allen Road and the I-75 overpass. The upgrades include:
- Intersection improvements at Windisch Road, including a turn lane on Allen Road and a new traffic signal
- The extension of Civic Centre Boulevard to Allen Road with Windisch Road, including a roundabout
- Additional work on Windisch Road, south of Allen Road, to provide for a right-angled intersection
The work includes street and intersection lighting. Landscaping with entrance features was provided at the northeast and northwest corners of Allen Road with Windisch Road. Landscaping and irrigation were also provided in the medians, roundabout, and roundabout splitters.
