Xavier University Campus Expansion

College of Business, Learning Commons, Utility Plant, Site Infrastructure, and Residence Hall
Cincinnati, Ohio

Designed in Autodesk Civil 3D BIM software, The Kleingers Group provided civil engineering design services along with a traffic impact study for the $150 million campus expansion at Xavier University. This project included a new 85,000 sq. ft. College of Business, 80,000 sq. ft. Learning Commons a 20,000 sq. ft. Central Utility Plant, a new 535 bed Residence Hall, and major site infrastructure improvements. This project expanded Xavier University’s campus by 11 acres and created a new gateway at the Dana-Ledgewood Ave intersection. The center of this project sits approximately 40 feet above the existing academic mall thus tight coordination between the Landscape Architect and Civil Engineer was required to make the site accessible and function as an extension of the existing campus.
