The Kleingers Group conducted analysis and review of the levee that protects West Terre Haute from flooding from the Wabash River for the West Terre Haute Levee Certification per 44 CFR 65.10. The levee consists of a combination of reinforced concrete walls, earthen levees, railroad embankments, and roadway embankments. The levee is approximately 14,200 linear feet and contains 13 drainage structures, 6 vehicle or man closures, and a single pump station. The Kleingers Group performed the necessary HEC-RAS modeling of the Wabash River, interior drainage analysis to determine internal flooding against the levee, and all the necessary surveying for the project to certify the levee.
