Warren County Fairgrounds
The Kleingers Group provided master planning and civil engineering to the Warren County Fairboard in developing a site improvement plan that would support a more robust slate of programming throughout the year, increase revenue opportunities and allow for future growth. By considering how to make the fairground’s aging infrastructure more flexible and adaptable to a wide range of uses, The Kleingers Group helped develop a plan that will allow the fairgrounds the ability to attract different types of events and increase revenue. The Kleingers Group also worked closely with the Warren County Commissioners, who had proposed plans for adjacent commercial development opportunties.
In particular, the first phase of the plan proposes: replacing the existing grandstand with a multi-purpose pavilion facility, which can be used to host a variety of events; improving the streetscape to improve the “front door” of the site; a new parking area; adding bleacher structures in close proximity to the track; improving the electrical infrastructure to support a new performance stage. The plan also accomodates long-term goals such as adding a great-lawn, expanding the campground, developing a track in-field, expanding the equestrian area and allowing for future development targeted by the Warren County Commissioners.
