The Commons at Third
Kleingers prepared detailed site plans and landscape architectural design for this $11 million, three-story, 100 studio-style apartments transitional housing development near the intersection of Third Avenue and Norton Avenue. The building has a community room, computer resource room, 24-hour staffed entry, a meeting room for resident services, and interior and exterior security cameras. Situated on 1.4 acres, Kleingers design included grading, underground storm water detention, sidewalk improvements along Norton Avenue, and water and sanitary services. Kleingers also worked to facilitate an access variance with the City of Columbus Fire Department. The project received LEED Platinum certification.
