Client: The Health Alliance

In the years since it's opening, Jewish Hospital had acquired several parcels surrounding the hospital building to provide flexibility for the future needs of the community. Although the hospital's parcel was zoned appropriately, the land acquired by the hospital was not. The Health Alliance, then operator of the Jewish Hospital, hired Kleingers & Associates to advise them on how to re-zone all of Jewish Hospital's holdings into one appropriate zone & then complete the documents necessary to do so. K&A discussed the zoning requirements with Sycamore Township and found that the Township would require items above and beyond those required for an ordinary re-zoning including building elevations, photometric plans, landscaping plans, and floor plans of the existing facilities. Working closely with the Health Alliance real estate, property management, maintenance, hospital administration, and legal staff, Kleingers & Associates was able to compile all the documentation necessary for the successful completion of the re-zoning.
