Client: Bremner / Duke Realty for Good Samaritan Hospital
Kleingers & Associates is currently providing design services for Phase 1 of the $50 million Good Samaritan Medical Office Complex which includes a new 40,000 square foot medical office building; 25 acres of developed lots for sale; public road improvements; and demolition of the existing infrastructure and creation of new green space.
Specific site challenges include:
Working around a 48" storm pipe that was declared by the Army Corps of Engineers to be a "protected water of the US"
Sewer and water master planning with MSD & GCWW
Earthwork for 4 buildings with surface parking on a hillside with an average of 15% slope
Designing a public roadway with a maximum allowable slope of 12% up that 15% slope hillside
Coordination with Hamilton County Engineer's office for improvements to existing Harrison Avenue.
