Deer Park Comprehensive Plan pushes change to Zoning Code

Kleingers & Associates works with community leaders to draft first major amendments to zoning code since 1969

(West Chester, OH) Deer Park recently adopted their first Comprehensive Plan with the assistance of Kleingers & Associates. The new Plan focuses on implementation plans aimed at facilitating redevelopment activity along the city's key business corridors. The first step in the process was the re-write of the existing zoning code to provide a flexible zoning framework that promotes high quality redevelopment activity. The new zoning code also incorporates new "smart code" standards and urban design elements into a newly created Mixed Use Business District.
